| | | | Most of the products offered by Asian Opus can be ordered in various types of stone or in various shapes and sizes. For example a 1M high, circular pedestal with fern leaves motif can be ordered as a two metre, square pedestal with a bamboo leaf detail. A limestone piece ordered in other kinds of stone may be more expensive depending on how hard it is to extract and carve.
Other examples of bespoke commissioning include providing us with your own artwork or theme which you want carved. Obviously this kind of order takes more time, consultation and money because it is a one-off. Talk to us about ways to submit your artwork as soon as possible.
On a commercial level many hotels and businesses have commissioned my suppliers to provide them with a wide variety of bespoke pieces including carved limestone columns over four metres high (in sections) that were used as vertical supports (cladding) for hotel lobbies and large signs for entrances and receptions. On occasion craftsmen have travelled with the commissions to assist with their installation.
